Barbara Hargreaves of Berlin Township was hired in May as the new Executive Director for the Erie County Humane Society.
Barbara is also a REALTOR and was Director of LEADS & The Volunteer Center. She is a Paul Harris Fellow of the Sandusky Rotary Club and produced a 21 minute documentary video about drunken driving that earned her three awards. She served as a 4-H Advisor for 38 years. She is also a cancer survivor.
She owns two golden retrievers and a cat. She would like for her dogs to become certified therapy dogs for Stein Hospice. She has two adult sons, Jason & Collin and is a proud grandma of 4!
Barbara has started her journey to become a Reiki Master and hopes to have that goal accomplished in 2011.
